Welcome to The Ohio State University Airport. OSU was listed as the fourth busiest airport in Ohio during 1997 and 1998, ranking first in general aviation activity*. Over the course of 1998, the OSU tower (State Tower) cleared aircraft either for takeoff or landing 128,000 times. No air carriers accounted for any of the 128,000 operations. All air traffic is comprised of general aviation and corporate jet aircraft or helicopters.

In August of 1997, Midwest Air Traffic Control Service, Inc. was contracted by the Federal Aviation Administration to provide air traffic control (ATC) services at the OSU airport. As a service to pilots, State Tower provides the flying public with this information. We hope that it will make your transitions to and from the OSU airport as efficient as possible.

All information is derived from other time-critical air navigation publications, and is subject to change without notice. This brochure is not designed to replace these publications; rather, to draw the information together to make a convenient reference.
